"As WTC's partner in the Philippines, where we run two 5i50 triathlons and a 70.3 triathlon, we call on all triathletes to help the victims in the most recent typhoon (Yolanda) that was recorded to be three times stronger than Hurricane Katrina and has left more than 1,000 dead and over 600,000 displaced. Coupled with the recent earthquake in a neighboring province, combined these natural disasters have resulted in a dire situation for so many Filipinos.

For triathletes, a commemorative jersey has been designed for which the proceeds will be used to help rebuild the affected areas of Tacloban, Bohol and Cebu. The front of the jersey has the inscription "I Care for the Philippines" and the back reads "Triathletes Making A Difference". I hope you can consider helping in this worthwhile and needed endeavor."

Sunrise Events is also privileged to work with XTERRA, the biggest off road sporting event in the world as well a Cycle Asia. As such there will be memorabilia from athletes from these sporting disciplines that will be auctioned off starting with the 2002 Original Tour de France Green Jersey from Robbie McEwen.

Sincerely,
Wilfred Steven Uytengsu
